Featuring three distinct front fascia treatments for the LT, ACTIV, and RS models, each version presents a unique visual identity. The SUV has grown in size, nearly 2.3 inches wider than its predecessor, enhancing its planted stance. This generation of Equinox sports a distinctive C-pillar shark fin, all-LED lighting, and a range of aluminum wheel choices, including 20-inch wheels on the RS, a first for Equinox.

Inside, the Equinox features a modern and spacious ambiance with a focus on technology. The redesigned interior includes an 11-inch-diagonal configurable driver information centre and an 11.3-inch-diagonal infotainment screen, offering a tech-focused user experience. It's powered by a 1.5L Turbo engine, producing an estimated 175 horsepower, paired with a continuously variable transmission in FWD configurations or an eight-speed automatic transmission with AWD. For Canadian models, AWD is standard on the ACTIV and RS trims. The Equinox also introduces driver-selectable modes, including Normal and Snow for FWD vehicles and an additional Off-Road mode for AWD vehicles, adapting the propulsion system for optimal performance.

It features premium Evotex™ and sueded microfiber seating surfaces, with ACTIV and RS trims offering standard heated steering wheels and front seats. The new interior design provides more storage space, a hidden rear cargo floor, and folding second-row seats, enabling up to 1,798L of storage.
